Pudgy Penguins’ Abstract Closes, Marking Second Ethereum Layer 2 Shutdown in a Week

The Pudgy Penguins' parent company is shutting down Abstract, its Ethereum Layer 2 network, due to limited liquidity and a decision to focus on the Pudgy Penguins brand and PENGU token.

The network will cease operating on December 15, and users are advised to withdraw their assets beforehand.

This marks the second Ethereum Layer 2 shutdown in a week, following the closure of the Boba Network.
