Ring Designed a Keyless Smart Lock That Can Still Open When the Battery Dies
Ring, the smart home security company, has designed a keyless smart lock that can still be opened even when the battery dies. This is a significant improvement over existing smart locks that can leave users locked out if the battery runs out.
The new lock, called the Ring Always Home Cam, uses a unique feature that allows it to be opened using a physical key when the battery is dead. This ensures that users will never be locked out of their homes, even in a power outage.
The Always Home Cam also features a built-in camera that records and streams video when it detects motion. This allows users to monitor their homes even when they are not there.
The new lock is expected to be available for purchase later this year.
