Rockhopper pledges $44 million for oil project’s second Falklands-bound FPSO

Rockhopper Exploration has committed $44 million to secure a stake in a floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) vessel destined for the Sea Lion oil project in the Falkland Islands.

The FPSO, to be built by SBM Offshore, will be the second for the project and is expected to increase production capacity.

This development could potentially lead to increased job opportunities and revenue for seafarers involved in the project.
