New York AG secures up to $35 million and lifetime crypto ban from Celsius’ Alex Mashinsky

Alex Mashinsky, the co-founder of the failed crypto lender Celsius, has been banned from the crypto industry for life and ordered to pay up to $35 million to settle a civil case with the New York Attorney General. Mashinsky had previously pleaded guilty to fraud charges and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
