YouTube, Twitch, Meta, and X have not responded to requests for comment regarding whether they will allow the US government to livestream an execution on their platforms. An unnamed Pentagon official announced that the execution of Nidal Hasan, convicted of a mass shooting at a Texas military base in 2009, will be livestreamed.
