Apple and LG leak shows new ‘tap to control’ HomeKit features

Apple and LG are reportedly working on new 'tap to control' features for HomeKit. A leak from a known source suggests that upcoming LG smart home devices will support NFC-based 'Proximity Control', allowing iPhone users to access device controls by simply bringing their phone close to it. The feature is said to be integrated into the iPhone's Dynamic Island.
