Russia kills 15 in Ukraine as US hosts ‘productive’ talks to end war

Russia has carried out a missile strike on Ukraine, killing at least 15 people and injuring dozens more in the city of Zaporizhzhia.

The attack comes as the US hosts talks with European and Ukrainian officials to find a lasting solution to the conflict before winter approaches.

The US State Department described the talks as 'productive' but did not provide any details on the progress made.

The war in Ukraine has been ongoing for nearly a year, with millions of people displaced and thousands killed.
