Workers are now pretending to use AI to impress their bosses, survey says

Nearly half of US employees are falsely reporting their use of generative AI to impress their bosses, according to a survey.

The study, conducted by business intelligence firm Visier, suggests that workers may be overestimating their AI skills to appear more valuable in the workplace.

However, the survey also found that only 10% of employees are actually using AI tools daily, indicating a gap between perception and reality.
