Fans hope to save ‘tartan fortress’ where Scotland football team first played
Fans of Scotland’s national football team are campaigning to save a part of the site of First Hampden, where the team first played in 1878.
The site is up for rent and campaigners want to turn it into a community hub.
The team won every game they played at First Hampden, which is now a car park.
