‘No cake-cutting around Hussain Sagar’: Behind Hyderabad police’s diktat, a tragedy

Hyderabad police have issued a diktat against cake-cutting around Hussain Sagar, a lake in the city, following a drowning incident last year.

The incident occurred during a birthday party where a child drowned after falling into the lake.

The news score is 3 on both axes as it is a local incident with no broader consequence.
