Detained Australian engineer Robert Pether has left Iraq after being jailed in 2021

A 13-year-old boy has been charged with murder after a man was stabbed to death in Sydney's west on Friday.

The 36-year-old victim had withdrawn cash to give to some young people when he was allegedly stabbed.

The incident has shocked the local community and is being investigated by police.

The boy is the youngest person to be charged with murder in New South Wales this year.
