Met chief says ‘toxicity’ around DEI will not stop him recruiting more black and Asian officers

Metropolitan Police chief Mark Rowley has vowed to recruit more black and Asian officers, despite criticism and 'toxicity' around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts. He believes this will help gain the trust of minority ethnic communities in London.
