Transocean books new Shell work and firms up $1bn Equinor deal

Transocean has won a two-well contract with Shell for its Transocean Norge semisub rig and secured formal approval for its $1bn deal with Equinor.

The estimated 120 days of work for Shell is expected to begin in the second half of 2023.
