FII ownership hits 17-year low, but foreign holdings in Indian equities rise 3.6 times to $783 billion: Report

Foreign investor ownership in Indian equities has fallen to a 17-year low of 15.1%, but the absolute value of holdings has risen to around $783 billion. This is attributed to faster growth in domestic investor participation.
