UK Freezes $12M London Penthouse of Alleged Prince Group Finance Chief
The UK has frozen a $12 million London penthouse belonging to Thet Li, who is accused of being the finance chief of a group linked to a $14 billion Bitcoin scam targeted by U.S. authorities.
The U.S. Department of Justice alleges that Li was part of a group that defrauded investors worldwide, including in the U.S., by promoting fake cryptocurrency investments.
The move by the UK's National Crime Agency is part of an international effort to recover assets linked to the alleged scam.
