How Apple can win the smart home

Apple is hosting a smart home event this week, where it is expected to unveil new hardware for its Apple Home platform.

The event, titled 'Welcome Home', will take place in New York City on Tuesday, October 13th.

While no specific details have been shared, it is widely anticipated that Apple will announce new products aimed at the smart home market.

The event comes as Apple continues to expand its presence in the connected home space, following the launch of the second-generation HomePod earlier this year.
