Model links course design, psychological safety and guided AI use
University of Phoenix researchers have published a new study examining how stress, self-regulation, resilience, belonging, psychological safety, and guided AI use interact in the experiences of nontraditional online students.
The study, published in the journal Computers & Education, found that a trauma-informed, AI-integrated model for nontraditional learners can improve persistence and success in online higher education.
The research could have important implications for the design of online learning environments and the support of nontraditional students.
