AI, next-gen tech, and maritime decarbonization on RINA- China Merchants Energy Shipping pact’s agenda

The Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) and China Merchants Energy Shipping (CMES) have signed a pact to explore the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and next-generation technologies in maritime decarbonization. The collaboration aims to investigate AI-powered vessel operations, smart shipping, alternative fuels, and other innovative solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the shipping industry.
