Sui Commits $30 Million as DATA Network Winds Down Blockchain

The Sui Foundation has committed $30 million to the DATA Network as part of a partnership to bring its AI training data infrastructure to the Sui blockchain. The transition will integrate DATA’s Trace registry into Sui, with Walrus becoming the default storage system for DATA Foundation-operated applications. The DATA Network's standalone blockchain will shut down after the migration.
