BYD Atto 8 revealed as brand’s flagship SUV

BYD has launched its new flagship SUV, the Atto 8, at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The 7-seater vehicle is available in both electric vehicle (EV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variants. Notably, the EV version supports ultra-fast 'Flash Charging', capable of charging the 115kWh battery from 10 to 97 percent in just 9 minutes. The PHEV version is offered with two battery options, 19kWh and 35.6kWh.
