UPI transactions above ₹2,000: 0.40% MDR pushed until after Diwali, says NPCI

The Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) of 0.4% on Unified Payments Interface (UPI) transactions over ₹2,000 has been deferred and will come into effect post Diwali, according to a statement by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
