BMW owner wins 14-year battle: Insurer told to pay ₹70 lakh after car gutted in fire

A consumer commission in India has ruled in favor of a BMW owner who had been in a 14-year dispute with United India Insurance Company. The insurer has been directed to pay ₹70 lakh to the owner after his car was damaged in a fire caused by a tyre puncture on a Maharashtra highway.
