HSBC to Launch RedCoin Stablecoin in Hong Kong

HSBC is set to launch a Hong Kong dollar-pegged stablecoin called RedCoin in the second half of 2026. The token will initially be available through PayMe and the HSBC HK mobile app and is planned to be extended to corporate and institutional applications in later phases.
