Instagram Renames AI Creator Label, Limits Reach of Undisclosed Profiles

Instagram is introducing stricter disclosure rules for profiles built around AI-generated people. Accounts that do not identify their AI-generated identity could lose access to recommendations, while creators who add the new disclosure will not face a reach penalty. The platform is also replacing its AI creator label with AI-generated profile.
