The head of Mercedes-Benz has warned that excluding the UK from the EU's 'Made in Europe' law could hurt the entire EU car industry.

Ola Källenius said it would 'weaken the industry on both sides' and called it a 'deliberate choice' to hurt the industry.

The 'Made in Europe' law is intended to counter non-EU competition, but locking out the UK could have unintended consequences.
