The 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLE450e plug-in hybrid SUV is now available in Australia, offering both wagon and 'coupe' body styles.

The GLE450e combines a 3.0L inline-6 turbo engine with an electric motor, producing a combined output of 450 horsepower.

The SUV can travel up to 100km on electric power alone and has a total range of over 1000km.

The GLE450e starts at AU$169,900 (approximately US$120,000) for the wagon and AU$177,900 (approximately US$125,000) for the 'coupe'.
