'Pakistan needs to look inwards': India questions UN rights body's silence on PoK unrest

India has questioned the silence of the UN Human Rights Council on the ongoing unrest in Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PoK), stating that Pakistan needs to look inwards to address the issue.

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) made the remarks at a UNHRC session in Geneva, where it raised concerns about the deteriorating human rights situation in PoK.

The MEA also accused Pakistan of using terrorism as a state policy and urged the international community to hold Islamabad accountable for its actions.

The remarks come amid increasing tensions between India and Pakistan over the disputed region of Kashmir.
