UK threatens to ban Eritreans over returns policy

The UK has threatened to ban Eritreans from entering the country unless the east African nation agrees to accept more rejected asylum seekers and criminals. The move comes after Eritrea withdrew its cooperation on returns earlier this year.

VIPs and officials from Eritrea have already been stripped of fast-track access to UK visas as a result of the dispute.
