LD Armateurs Installs Six Rotor Sails on Airbus RoRo Carrier

LD Armateurs and Norsepower have successfully installed six rotor sails on the Spirit of Toulouse, the first of three low-emission RoRo vessels being built to transport vehicles between France and the UK. The rotor sails, which use wind power to propel the ship, are expected to reduce fuel consumption and emissions by up to 30%.
