J&K HC restricts motorboat operations on Dal Lake
The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh has ordered a ban on fuel-powered motorboats and jet skis on Dal Lake to protect it from pollution.
The court suggested exploring solar-powered boats as an alternative for tourism-related activities and exempted emergency services and safety operations from this ban.
