Sebi revises CAS rules, changes derivatives expiry settlement methodology

Sebi has revised rules for the closing auction session in the equity cash market, effective December 2026. The session will run from 3.30 pm to 3.40 pm with specific phases for order entry. The settlement prices for derivatives contracts will also be calculated differently.
