The 8th Central Pay Commission (CPC) was constituted in November 2025 to review and recommend changes to the pay, allowances, benefits, and pensions of central government employees and pensioners. A year since its constitution, the commission has been consulting various stakeholders, including employees and pensioners, to gather their views and suggestions. The commission is expected to submit its report by May 2027.
