HMM commits $1.6bn to 12 more containerships

South Korea’s HMM is expanding its fleet with a $1.62bn investment in 12 containerships, including eight 13,000 teu newbuildings and four smaller vessels.

The investment, approved by HMM's board, is part of the carrier's ongoing fleet expansion program.
