Baltic Index Hits Third Weekly Loss As Capesize Rates Remain Weak

The Baltic Exchange's main sea freight index, which tracks rates for ships carrying dry bulk commodities, fell on Friday, extending losses to a third straight week. The overall index dropped by 17 points to 1,817 points, with the capesize index losing 28 points to 2,599 points.
