Wind-Assisted Shipping Gains Ground as Airbus RoRo Adds Rotor Sails

The first roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) vessel equipped with rotor sails, designed to reduce fuel consumption and emissions, has been launched. The Spirit of Toulouse, owned by LD Armateurs, will transport aircraft components for Airbus, demonstrating the growing adoption of wind-assisted shipping.
