Baltic Dry Index Rises for 4th Day

The Baltic Exchange’s dry bulk freight index rose for a fourth straight session on Thursday, advancing by 0.5% to a fresh high since October 13 at 2,693 points.

The capesize index, which typically transports 150,000-ton cargoes, including iron ore and coal, also advanced for a fourth consecutive session.
