Fraser Shipyards changes hands in $350m expansion drive

US investment firm Wildcat Equity Partners has acquired Fraser Industries, a Wisconsin-based shipbuilding and repair group, for $350m. The acquisition includes Fraser Shipyards, Lake Assault Boats, Northern Engineering, and Fraser Terminal. The investment firm plans to expand the facilities and workforce.
