Mammoet, Port of Argentia Plan Floating Dry Dock, Marine Repair Facility

The Port of Argentia in Newfoundland and Labrador is set to expand its marine repair facilities with a new floating dry dock, following a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by Mammoet Canada Eastern Ltd., Port of Argentia Inc., and Argentia Capital Inc. (ACI).

The project aims to attract more marine repair and shipbuilding businesses to the region, potentially increasing job opportunities for seafarers and related industries.

The MOU also outlines plans for a marine repair facility, which could enhance safety and working conditions for seafarers by providing better maintenance and repair services locally.
