Trader Alkagesta enters shipowning with Turkish bunker fleet takeover

Malta-based commodities trader Alkagesta is expanding into shipowning with the acquisition of Turkish marine fuel supplier Energy Petrol and its eight-vessel bunker fleet. The transaction was approved by Türkiye’s competition authority.
