Israel's Central Bank Rebukes Netanyahu Plan to Use Crypto to Dodge Sanctions

Over 100 economists, including former governor Jacob Frenkel, have warned against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plan to use cryptocurrency to circumvent international sanctions. The economists, in an open letter, cautioned that such a move could lead to Israel's further isolation ahead of the country's October 27 national election.
