Dolphin Drilling sells ageing semisub and eyes rig management tie-up

Norwegian offshore drilling contractor Dolphin Drilling has sold its ageing Blackford Dolphin semisubmersible rig to Dubai-based SPM Energy Shipping for up to $25m. The sale also includes an option for Dolphin to manage drilling rigs in India and other markets for SPM.
