Fugro wins UXO survey contract for German offshore grid connections

Fugro has been awarded a contract by 50Hertz to deliver unexploded ordnance (UXO) survey, identification and clearance services for the LanWin3 offshore grid connection project in Germany.

The project involves surveying and clearing UXO from the route of the power cables to ensure safe installation.

The contract is expected to run for two years, starting in the second quarter of 2023.
