Venergy breaks into VLCCs with Hengli order

Greek shipowner Vyron Vasileiadis is expanding his tanker business into the VLCC segment, with Venergy Maritime linked to two firm newbuildings and options for another two at China’s Hengli Heavy Industries.

The 306,000 dwt crude carriers are scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2029.
