Siem orders SCV newbuild duo from Chinese yard

Norway’s Siem Industries has ordered two large subsea construction vessels (SCVs) from China’s Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding, with deliveries in 2029 and 2030. Each vessel will feature a 400-tonne active heave-compensated subsea crane and an additional 50-tonne crane.
