Noble offloads idle drillship for $38m

US offshore drilling contractor Noble Corporation has sold its 2013-built drillship, Noble Globetrotter II, for $38 million. The drillship, which has been idle, will be offloaded in the fourth quarter of 2026. The buyer's identity and the rig's future use were not disclosed.
