Key Changes and Requirements
1. Nationwide Swachhta Abhiyan - 2017
The Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation has organized a Nationwide Swachhta Abhiyan - 2017 from 15th September to 2nd October, 2017. All Central Ministries, departments, and PSUs are organizing shramdan activities.
- Activities: Upkeep and cleaning of office premises, disposal of unused items, weeding out old files, repairs and maintenance, and awareness drive amongst employees.
- Duration: 15th September to 2nd October, 2017
All officers and staff are requested to ensure regular cleanliness in their divisions and give "Shramdan" at their workplaces and residential areas.
Important Note
All are requested to throw rubbish only in dustbins, not spit in public areas, and help keep public areas clean to make the campaign a success.
