Key Changes and Requirements
1. Eligibility for STCW High Voltage Course
MEO Class II candidates who have passed the written and oral examinations but are awaiting their CoC can now undergo the STCW High Voltage (HV) course without possessing the MEO Class II CoC.
- Evidence: Submit self-attested print-outs of results from the DGS website or EXN-45 to approved training institutes.
2. Post-Course Action
After completing the HV course, MEO Class II candidates can apply for their CoC without the High Voltage limitation.
Note: This circular is issued with the approval of the competent authority of the Directorate General Shipping.
