Key Changes and Requirements
1. MTI Eligibility Criteria
MTIs must meet certain criteria to conduct training programs for the issue of certificates of proficiency.
- Eligibility: MTIs must meet the eligibility criteria as per the guidelines issued by the Director General of Shipping (DGS).
- Application: MTIs must apply for approval of training programs using the DGS portal.

Important Note
MTIs are advised to ensure they meet all the eligibility criteria and apply for approval well in advance to avoid any delays in training program commencement.
