Key Changes and Requirements

Applicants for RPS licenses must submit their applications directly to the Indian Register of Shipping (IRS).

IRS Inspection: The IRS will inspect the application and submit its report to the jurisdictional DSEO within 15 days.
DSEO Review: The DSEO will review the application and report, and issue, renew, or reissue the license within 15 days of receiving the inspection report.

An online application and issuance system is under development. Once operational, it will be notified.

Note: This order comes into force immediately.
