Key Changes and Requirements
1. Decentralized Issuance of CDCs
The issuance of renewal, replacement, and duplicate Continuous Discharge Certificates (CDCs) is now decentralized to the offices of the Shipping Masters in Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata.
- Effective Date: 01.01.13
- Application: Seafarers can apply to any of the three Govt. Shipping Offices for CDC renewal/replacement/duplicate issuance.
- Processing: The Shipping Master of the Govt. Shipping Office where the application is received will process the case expeditiously.

Important Note
All other terms and conditions of the DG Shipping Order 06 of 2012 remain unchanged.
